Longshore Rebel Press is a small, women-owned independent book publisher located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Our catalog of current and future releases includes titles from the following genres:

• Science fiction (terrestrial), with an emphasis on environmental and political themes
• Literary fiction, including political satire and Southern Gothic (usually Mississippi-, Alabama-, Louisiana-, and Florida-centric)
• American historical fiction

However, our catalog may expand to include other fiction and nonfiction genres. We release titles that challenge readers and make them think—no matter what their existing beliefs are. Conservative, liberal, religious, nonreligious—we don’t want anyone to get too comfortable and smug, and that goes for ourselves especially! We believe the main purpose of books is to get people to think.
